the modern guitars are talked about with reverance, but these old ones are the collectable classics,prices are rising all

In the late 50s gibson had plans to manufacture a solid body
electric guitar solely for beginners and students, a guitar that was plain, simple and everyone could of afford .
This
led to the introduction of the gibson melody maker in 1959
the model you are looking at has been refinished has a wrap around
bridge, and a 1963 serial number, it plays like a dream but it hasnt got the price tag of the early sixties Gibsons Les pauls,even
though its built to the same high specification,a sleeper I think, one that will increase in value of the years.
